Caught in a society where a woman was considered impure,  isolated from social and religious events due to a condition beyond her control,
the woman with the issue of blood tells her story of suffering and healing in dance and song.

See and hear from those who have come before and after her.
Explore what it means to experience life as a mother, sister, daughter, friend and wife.

East London based DaySpring Dance Company returns to the Festival Fringe with their typically uplifting and provoking dance with a message. Previous Fringe associated productions have included “The Master Musician”, “Fly, Eagle, Fly!” and “Just the way you are”.

The beautiful, fresh choreography is by Kati Ansell, a National School of the Arts(NSA), UCT School of Dance graduate and Artistic Director of DaySpring Dance. Through this meaningful work, Ansell, who has reached mid-life herself, explores the many roles a woman plays in her lifetime.

The cast includes Andrea Payne a former artist with USA based, internationally acclaimed Christian ballet company, Ballet Magnificat! Other members are Eastern Cape born, bred and trained dancers that have come through the ranks of Christian Dance Academy.
