Returning from complete sell out runs at the Soho Theatre, London and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2016, The Pretend Men’s critically acclaimed, multi award winning comedy blockbuster returns once more for an action packed hour of adrenaline fuelled physical comedy, cinematic style and uncompromising facial hair.

PRESENT DAY (1976). Straight-laced rookie Police Cop Jimmy Johnson is out to avenge his brother’s death, and (with the help of his new partner) he’s got to go it alone! Teamed up with a disgraced, retired renegade named Harrison, the pair begin to unearth the soily secrets that the case holds. Police Cops is a cinematic joyride, speeding down Adventure Avenue in a souped-up squad car. Oh, and did I mention…the steering wheel is made out of guns.

Well acted by actors clearly enjoying their craft. Good story telling, with minimal props. Light comedic entertainment which entire audience enjoyed thoroughly. My 13 years son spontaneously gave it a standing ovation. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved the show, it was hilarious entertaining and engaging. The three men acted very well. I really loved how they changed character on stage and acted as so many different people. AMAZING

wonderful slapstick spoof of every tv copy show ever made, like raiders for those in their early twenties

It was well supported, but we didn’t get the humor. Thought it was quite childish.
