Fill in the simple form below to join ArtBucks for Free - and get rewarded for the tickets you buy at the National Arts Festival. Then, once the Festival is over you can enjoy a host of benefits across South Africa.

How it works.....For every ticket to a Festival production you purchase at a Festival Box Office, you qualify for 20% of the value back as ArtBucks credits. At the end of the Festival you will receive an email from us. In it, we’ll tell you how much credit you have accumulated. You can then choose one of two options - either roll your ArtBucks over to next year’s Festival and enjoy a discount on your ticket purchases to the value of your credit; or donate your ArtBucks to the National Arts Festival Arts Encounter project. This will give you the satisfaction of knowing that your love of the arts is helping thousands of others discover the same passion.

But wait....there’s more. The Festival has, through its partners, lined up a range of discounts and special offers that you can enjoy outside of Grahamstown during the year. Buy-one-get-one-free offers at some of South Africa’s leading theatres; invitations to red carpet opening nights; sneak previews of some of the best new work to hit South Africa’s stages; and more. Because we know you’re not an arts lover just for 11 days a year, ArtBucks will reward you every month.

And even more.....The National Arts Festival is fortunate to have a range of sponsors who love the arts as much as you do, and they want to reward you too. So during the year you’ll find exclusive red-hot specials from our partners and sponsors. All this? For free? Just by filling in a form? And keeping a little bit of plastic in your wallet? Yip. We’re kind of surprised too. But it’s our way of making sure you remember us, and that you come back to Grahamstown next year for more of the world’s most AMAZ!NG festival.

The inevitable small print: ArtBucks is neither a currency nor a cash-back programme. ArtBucks credits can not be converted to cash and can only be utilised as credit against ticket purchases at the Festival following the year in which they were accumulated, or donated to the Arts Encounter project. ArtBucks credits can only be earned on purchases made from the Festival Box Offices in Grahamstown or at Computicket branches, not on purchases made at venue doors. Only performances at the National Arts Festival qualify for ArtBucks credits - they can not be earned on shuttle bookings, game drives or other non-performance related purchases. ArtBucks can not be earned retrospecitvely and members will only accumulate credits on purchases they make after joining the programme. The National Arts Festival reserves the right to terminate the programme at any time, at which point any unused credits will be forfeited.
